We are seeking a highly skilled Mold Maker for a steady day shift, direct hire position within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and maintaining molds used in the production of high-quality components. Duties

- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CAD models to develop mold designs using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CAD programs.
- Program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines, to precisely machine mold components.
- Fabricate molds through various methods including machining, welding, assembly, and finishing processes.
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Read and understand schematics and technical documentation related to mold construction and maintenance.
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on molds to ensure optimal performance during production runs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to modify or improve existing mold designs based on manufacturing feedback.




- Maintain detailed records of machining processes, measurements, and modifications for quality assurance purposes.

Requirements

- Proven experience in mold making or precision machining within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools.
- Skilled in CNC programming and operation of CNC lathe and milling machines.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and welding equipment.
- Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and mathematical measurements accurately.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, welding, and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments like calipers for quality control assessments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
