Performance Mazda is looking for a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Automotive Sales Representative to join our team.

Automotive sales experience is not required. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates confidently, has a strong work ethic, and is motivated to succeed. Previous automotive or sales experience would be considered a strong asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

- Assist customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process, from initial contact through vehicle delivery
- Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and helping them select the right vehicle
- Present and demonstrate new and pre-owned vehicles, including features, technology, and benefits
- Conduct professional vehicle test drives and product demonstrations
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone, email, text, and online lead sources
- Follow up consistently with prospective and existing customers to build long-term relationships and generate repeat and referral business
- Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up activity within the dealership's CRM system
- Stay current on Mazda products, features, incentives, programs, and available inventory
- Work collaboratively with the sales management and finance teams to provide customers with a smooth and skilled purchasing experience
- Work toward individual sales and customer satisfaction objectives
- Represent Performance Mazda professionally and provide an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the sales process
- Create and post engaging social media content to promote vehicles, dealership activities,



and build a personal presence that helps generate customer engagement and sales opportunities

Qualifications

- Previous automotive sales experience is an asset, but not required
- Previous sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Comfortable learning and using CRM and dealership software
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence
- OMVIC licence is an asset; candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing and eligible to obtain one
- Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset
- Comfortable creating social media content, including photos, short-form videos, vehicle walkarounds, and promotional posts
- Comfortable appearing on camera and using social media as a tool to build relationships and generate business
