Glider Guard is a leading supplier of dies, moulds, automation equipment and assembly fixtures to the North American automotive industry. For over 75 years we have been the continent’s primary supplier of decorative trim stamping dies to produce automotive mouldings including window trim. Our main focus has evolved to include plastic injection moulds, including standard injection and multi-shot rotary tools.

Glider Guard employs highly skilled die and mould designers, CNC machinists and both die and mould toolmakers. With investments in up-to-date equipment, software and techniques, our tools stand second to none in quality and reliability.

Glider Guard is currently seeking a CNC Boring Mill Operator/ CNC Machinist for day and afternoon shift.

Experience:

The successful candidate will possess:





- Experience with 3+1-axis boring mill

- Ability to machine mould core/cavities and die sets to tight tolerances

- Previous experience roughing mould core and cavities

- PowerMill experience an asset, but not required

- Fanuc experience an asset, but not required

- Strong work ethic

- Ability to follow instructions and learn company procedures

- Good communication and organizational skills
