Job Title: Formwork Draftsperson / Designer

Location: Vancouver, BC

About:

We are currently seeking a Formwork Draftsperson / Formwork Designer to join our team in Vancouver.

This role will focus on preparing formwork layout drawings and designs using Doka systems for concrete construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our operations and project teams to develop formwork solutions that can be reviewed and sealed by a third-party engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce formwork layout drawings and erection drawings for concrete structures.
- Design formwork systems using Doka equipment including:

- Framax

- Frami

- Top 50

- Dokaflex

- Shoring systems

- Developformwork solutions based on project drawings and construction sequencing.
- Coordinate with operations and site teams to ensure constructability.
- Prepare drawing packages to be reviewed and sealed by a third-party structural engineer.




- Assist with formwork quantity takeoffs and system planning.
- Coordinate with suppliers and engineers where required.

Qualifications:

- 5 years’ experience in formwork design / structural drafting for concrete construction.
- Familiarity with Doka, Peri, Aluma, or similar formwork systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD/Revit or similar drafting software.
- Experience coordinating with engineers for sealed drawings is an asset.
