Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS when available
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Up-sell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including food handling and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Assist with basic maths calculations for bills, tips, and transactions to ensure accuracy
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions,



resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for cashiering and billing purposes
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally

Pay: $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 35.0 per week
