Construction Site Superintendent

Calgary, AB

90-120K salary with benefits, RRSP and room for advancement

We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience on ICU projects, with preference given for those with Data Centre build experience.

Responsibilities

- Oversee construction activities from design through completion, working closely with the Project Manager, owners, consultants, engineers and architects to maintain project budget, schedule and overall delivery objectives.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings with internal teams, clients, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, direction and mentorship to project team members, supporting their professional development and growth.
- Identify potential project risks, scheduling conflicts, work interferences and other issues, and work with the team to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor project financial performance, including cost reporting, forecasting and budget tracking, to ensure alignment with the project estimate and support healthy cash flow.
- Collaborate across project disciplines to maintain strong communication, quality standards, safety practices and schedule performance on complex construction projects.

Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering,



or a related discipline, combined with 10+ years of construction experience. An equivalent combination of technical training and relevant experience will also be considered.
- Extensive experience managing large, complex commercial construction projects, including experience with environments such as Design-Build, P3, residential or airport projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and disciplines, health and safety requirements, project scheduling, cost control, quality management and the interpretation of engineering and construction drawings.
- Robust leadership and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess complex situations, develop practical solutions and effectively lead large project teams.
- Strong communication, organization and stakeholder-management skills.
- Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, CSIS/PWGSC Secret Level Security Clearance.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
