What You'll Do

- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture and repair precision components
- Work from blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings
- Machine shafts, bores, bearing fits, threads, and other close-tolerance components
- Select appropriate tooling, cutters, inserts, and workholding methods for each job
- Perform your own inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
- Make adjustments as required to ensure parts meet specification
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
- Work on a wide variety of one-off, repair, rebuild, and custom manufacturing projects
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What We're Looking For





- Journeyman Machinist certification or 4th-year Apprentice status
- Strong CNC machining experience, including setup and programming
- Experience maintaining close tolerances and producing quality workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of machining practices, tooling selection, feeds and speeds, and workholding techniques
- Experience with manual lathes and conventional machining equipment is an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
