Wentworth Ag is looking for a detail-oriented Drafter to join our growing team in Winkler, Manitoba. This position will work closely with our sales, operations, and installation teams to prepare drawings and layouts for grain storage and grain-handling projects.The ideal candidate is comfortable working with technical drawings, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working directly with both coworkers and customers. For someone interested in developing their sales skills, this position also offers the option to participate in sales and earn additional commission.Responsibilities

- Create and revise drawings, site layouts, and project plans for grain bins, grain-handling equipment, aeration systems, and related agricultural projects.
- Work with the sales team to turn customer requirements into explicit, accurate layouts and project drawings.
- Prepare drawings used for quoting, customer approval, construction, and installation.
- Review measurements, equipment specifications, clearances, and project requirements for accuracy.
- Maintain organized drawing files and update plans as projects change.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, suppliers, and Wentworth Ag team members when additional project information is required.
- Assist with equipment selection, layouts, and project planning.
- Support the sales team with technical information and project presentations.
- Opportunity to manage customer inquiries, develop your own accounts, and participate in equipment sales.
- Optional commission-based sales opportunities are available in addition to the core drafting role.

Qualifications

- Experience with AutoCAD,



DraftSight, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar drafting/design software is an asset.
- Drafting, engineering technology, architectural technology, mechanical design, or related education is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with measurements and technical specifications.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting drawings and equipment information.
- Robust communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Agricultural, construction, grain-storage, or grain-handling experience is an asset.
- Sales experience is an asset but not required.
