Pro Snow Solutions is building its Surrey winter crew for 2026-27. We clear snow and salt the sidewalks and walkways that keep people safe. You bring your own team of 2 or 3 people. You load up with supplies at our Surrey yard. Then your team works at sites across the Lower Mainland / GVRD, in cities like Surrey, Vancouver, Richmond and Burnaby.

What the work is

- Shovel snow and spread salt on walkways at businesses and housing complexes.
- Work in your own team of 2 or 3. One person drives their own vehicle, the others ride along. Bring family or friends.
- Follow routes in our phone app and take before and after photos.
- We supply the salt, shovels, buckets and the app. Drivers supply the vehicle. Everyone brings a phone and winter clothing.

Pay (paid yard to yard, so your driving time counts)

- Drivers: $45 an hour on snow shifts, $35 an hour on salt shifts.
- Passengers: $35 an hour on snow shifts, $25 an hour on salt shifts.
- Paid two times each month.

How it works

- This is on-call snow removal work and it depends on the weather. We text you when a shift is coming. You tell us if you can make it.




- When a real snow hits, we send out about 130 teams in one night, so we need hundreds of people ready.
- Most shifts run overnight or early morning (3 to 4am starts). Some run long.
- You work as a subcontractor, not an employee.
- Start with a 1-hour orientation at our Surrey yard (unpaid). Your first shifts are always paid and usually salt runs alongside experienced crew.

You need

- A team of 2 or 3 people total. You put your own team together.
- To live within 30 minutes of our Surrey yard, where every shift starts and ends.
- A smartphone with data.
- For drivers: a valid licence and a vehicle that handles winter roads.
- To be okay with cold, dark, early mornings and physical work.
