Position Overview
We are seeking a Pre-Sales Engineering Specialist to lead pre-sales technical engagements and support customer decision-making during the sales cycle. This role is critical to ensuring prospective customers clearly understand how our solutions meet their business and technical needs prior to purchase.

You will bring technical expertise, consultative skills, and a customer-centric approach to solution design, technical discovery, and product demonstrations, helping accelerate deal velocity and improve win rates, as well as accompanying customers in their early life cycle amid deals closed.

You’ll work closely with other pre-sales engineers on the team, contribute to sales enablement and solution design best practices, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Professional Services to ensure accurate expectation-setting and seamless handoff post-sale.

Key Responsibilities

● Collaborate on pre-sales technical engagements for large or mid complex opportunities, supporting Sales throughout the evaluation and decision-making process.

● Serve as a trusted technical support to prospective customers, guiding them through product capabilities, solution design, and feasibility assessments.

● Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, workflows, training, and constraints.

● Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and rapid prototypes aligned to customer use cases.

● Work closely with Sales to map customer needs to product capabilities, including identifying gaps, risks, and implementation considerations.

● Continuously provide feedback on implementation methodologies to enhance efficiency and customer adoption and satisfaction.





● Contribute to the development and maintenance of pre-sales playbooks, demo assets, and technical enablement materials.

● Collaborate with other pre-sales engineering team members, supporting skill development and consistency in customer engagement through team collaboration.

● Participating in developing materials and deliver presentations for large customer events (virtual and virtual) in alignment with the GTM strategy

Required Qualifications

● Excellent spoken and written communication in French and English

● Bachelor’s degree in business, computer ccience, or a related field.

● 3–5 years of experience in customer pre- and post-sales engineering, implementation, technical support, or olution delivery.

● Strong technical knowledge in system integration, data migration, and/or solution configuration.

● Understanding of Payroll management principles, enabling you to be a credible industry expert, and understanding of in-practice workflows.

● Excellent time management, and organizational skills.

● Experience with QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA), QuickBooks Online (QBO / QBO Advanced) or Quickbooks Payroll

Desired Qualifications

● PCP certification or an accounting or bookkeeping accreditation/certification (e.g., CPA, BBA)

● Experience working directly with mid-market businesses and/or operations.

● Knowledge of the third-party application ecosystem that connects with and enhances QuickBooks Online.

● Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in financial services.
