Dental Hygienist required for Caribbean General & Orthodontic Practice

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Hygienist within our warm and friendly Cayman Islands Practice.

Essential responsibilities include:

· Promoting periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, as well as restorative and orthodontic procedures prescribed by our dentists and specialists. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times.

· Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.

· Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.

· Provides nutritional counselling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.

· Removing and replacing orthodontic hardware such as arch wires.

· Other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Desired Skills:

· 3 Years experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred





· Experience within a Periodontal Program

· Enthusiastic attitude towards working within a large team

· Currently licensed in Canada, USA, UK, or South Africa and in valuable standing

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Computer literate

· Local Anesthetic and/or Soft Tissue Diode Laser Certification a PLUS.

*Competitive Wage

*3 to 5 days per week (10 hour days)
