Duties

- Conduct thorough inspections of metal components using precision measuring tools such as calipers and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform detailed visual examinations to identify surface defects, cracks, or inconsistencies in metal parts.
- Collect and record data on inspection results accurately, maintaining comprehensive quality documentation for traceability.
- Utilize analysis skills to interpret inspection data, identify patterns or issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support quality management initiatives by participating in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing process.




- Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and specifications throughout the fabrication process.
- Assist in implementing QA/QC procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving metals or similar materials.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, inspection techniques, and quality assurance practices.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical data accurately.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality inspection procedures.
- Effective communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
