Position: Yoga Therapist

About Us:

E Clinic United Healing is a privately operated, inter-professional facility that specializes in the treatment of patients of all ages who face conditions and injuries sustained from MVA (motor vehicle accidents). We are currently looking for a Yoga Therapist to join our team to provide virtual or in home therapy.

Position Summary:

The Yoga Therapist will be responsible for providing treatment services to our clients virtually or in the community and work with patients as part of their care team. They will be responsible for providing yoga therapy to our clients and working with our yoga department manager to provide various therapy techniques as well as oversee all relevant administrative functions as well.

The position will report to the Yoga Department Manager and the General Manager. They will work closely and collaboratively with the other departments including our administrative/billing team, and cross-functional departments as required (finance and human resources).

Responsibilities:

- Schedule and deliver virtual or in home private yoga sessions for individuals that have been in a motor vehicle accident
- Provide various Yoga Therapy techniques that may include: breathwork, meditation, physical movement practices, etc.
- Encourage client participation and ongoing engagement during therapy sessions and treatment plans




- Work with the Department Manager to enhance and improve the in home therapy process and client experience
- Manage and track client registration, attendance and relevant administration as required for the in home sessions
- other duties as required

Qualifications

Experience:

- Minimum two (2) years experience with the adult demographic
- Experience delivering private (one on one) individual sessions
- Experience delivering private in home yoga sessions an asset
- MVA experience an asset

Education and Certifications:

- 200h Registered Yoga Teacher Certification
- Yoga Therapy Certification preferred
- Drivers License and Reliable Vehicle (only for travel)

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of Office 365
- Experience completing clinical notes and progress reports
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written
- Ability to manage diverse group of professionals and individuals
- Ability to respect and promote a diverse population
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism at all times
- Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality in a clinic setting
- Physical requirement to demonstrate and model therapy

Job Types: Part time, Casual

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Experience:

- Yoga Teaching: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Yoga Therapy Certification (required)
- 200h Registered Yoga teacher Certification (required)
- Liability Insurance (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
