We are looking for an organized and proactive Lease and Tenant Relations Coordinator to oversee leasing activities, tenant relations, occupancy, and lease administration across our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience in property management or leasing, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of BC tenancy regulations.

Responsibilities include:

- Occupancy & Leasing: Market vacant units, respond to inquiries, conduct property tours, monitor rental market trends, and support competitive rental pricing.
- Tenant Screening & Onboarding: Review applications, conduct reference/background checks, prepare lease agreements, and coordinate tenant onboarding.
- Lease Management: Manage lease agreements, renewals, rental increases, key dates, and negotiate lease terms as required. Prepare net effective rent and market comparisons.
- Move-In/Move-Out: Conduct property inspections,



manage damage/security deposits, document damages, and coordinate unit turnovers.
- Tenant Relations: Act as a key point of contact for tenants, address concerns, support tenant retention, and maintain positive relationships.
- Compliance: Ensure leasing activities comply with applicable legislation, including the BC Residential Tenancy Act and relevant municipal requirements.
- External Coordination: Liaise with realtors, contractors, municipalities, vendors, and other external agencies as required.
- Property Coordination: Work with internal maintenance and operations teams to address tenant and property-related requirements.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate tenant records, lease documentation, occupancy trackers, renewal schedules, and leasing reports.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in leasing, property management, real estate, or tenant relations.
- Knowledge of BC leasing practices and the Residential Tenancy Act is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Highly organized with solid attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with property management software is an asset.
- Valid BC driver's licence and ability to travel between properties as required.
