Job Summary

We are hiring Concrete Factory Workers for a temp-to-hire chance in Oakville, ON, supporting a busy precast concrete manufacturing facility that supplies products for road building, sewer, and watermain infrastructure projects across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the concrete production crew with mixing, pouring, and handling precast concrete materials.
- Perform sanding, finishing, rework, and general preparation of concrete products.
- Organize finished products and help prepare materials for shipment.




- Operate hand tools and power tools safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Perform general labour duties, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and supporting production needs.
- Follow all safety procedures and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $26.35 per hour to start.
- Pay rate when hired permanently: $30.69 per hour.
- Shift premium: $1.50 per hour for hours worked starting after 12:00 PM
- Overtime: Saturday paid at 1.5x and Sunday paid at 2x.
- Job type: Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
- Shifts available: Days from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and afternoons from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
- Location: Oakville, ON.
- Unionized workplace with union dues applicable.
- PPE provided includes hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety vest.
- Facilities include vending machines, coffee machines, lockers, and an access card provided on the first day.
