Select People Solutions is searching for a Human Resources Generalist to join our client’s team. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional who can confidently support the full employee lifecycle while helping strengthen HR processes and day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will bring formal education in Human Resources, a strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices, and the organizational skills to manage competing priorities effectively. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-focused, and interested in identifying opportunities to improve processes, policies, and overall workplace operations.

Compensation & Hours:

- The rate of pay will be $60-80K/year, based on experience and industry standards
- Monday through Friday, daytime hours (40 hrs/week)
- In office, on site role

Position Summary:

- Manage employment-related regulatory and compliance requirements, including LMIAs, WCB claims and reporting, Employment Standards, and other applicable HR requirements
- Coordinate workplace injury, modified-duty, accommodation, and return-to-work processes, working with employees, supervisors, WCB, and other stakeholders as required




- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, documentation, policies, and procedures in accordance with legislative and organizational requirements
- Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies, employment practices, performance management, attendance, and employee relations
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, policies, and administrative systems to support productive and consistent operations

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with exposure to a variety of generalist responsibilities
- Thorough understanding of HR practices, employment policies, and applicable employment legislation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and leadership
- Proactive and improvement-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify opportunities for greater operational efficiency

Bonus Points For:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration with an HR focus, or a related discipline
- Previous HR experience within a manufacturing, production, or similar operational workplace
- Working toward or holding a CPHR designation
