Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints and accurately align and fabricate according to required dimensions, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications
- Align and fabricate baseplates according to required dimensions and tolerances
- Perform MIG welding and metal fabrication
- Align components and complete alignment reports
- Drill and tap holes accurately
- Perform mechanical assembly of components
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Paint completed assemblies as required
- Stage completed assemblies for shipping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all workplace safety and quality procedures

Requirements

- Previous experience in metal fabrication and MIG welding
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with drilling, tapping,



mechanical assembly, and component alignment
- Experience operating a milling machine is asset
- Solid knowledge of hand and power tools
- Forklift experience.
- Valuable attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

- MIG welding: 1 year (required)
- Metal Fabrication: 1 year (required)
- Forklift Operation: 1 year (preferred)
