FEATURE FOODS INTERNATIONAL INC IS LOOKING FOR A INGREDIENT PREPARATION TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ingredient Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, weighing and preparing ingredients according to production schedules and approved recipes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Measure and weigh dry ingredients accurately according to daily production schedules and recipes.
- Prepare, organize, and stage ingredients to support efficient production workflows.
- Print, verify, and apply product labels, ensuring accuracy of product information and lot numbers before production runs.
- Perform batching activities in accordance with established formulas and procedures.
- Complete production records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor ingredient inventory levels and report shortages through the SPIRE inventory system.
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing raw materials.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets and quality objectives.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety requirements, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment always.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Minimum college degree in Food science or any related science,



technology or engineering program

- Accurate measuring, weighing, and batching abilities.
- Knowledge of label printing, verification, and product traceability requirements.
- Inventory monitoring and stock control experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including inventory and production systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of GMP, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
- Able to read and write and speak English to review recipes.

HOURS OF WORK

7:30 am -5:00 pm Monday to Friday and very occasionally Saturday during our busy season.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
