Night time plow truck operator needed for when it snows 1” or more and also some sidewalks to clear at any amount. Could be a few hours or if we get a lot of snow you could be out for 15 hours.

Must have clean drivers abstract!

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods and materials safely across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of construction, landscaping, and horticultural equipment, with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical systems as needed. Duties

- Safely operate trucks for transporting construction materials, landscaping supplies, or horticultural equipment to designated sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate hand tools or power tools, ensuring secure placement for transit
- Assist with landscaping, gardening, irrigation, or landscape maintenance tasks as required at job sites




- Perform minor mechanical maintenance on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Support construction projects by transporting necessary tools and materials to various locations
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation and while on job sites
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating trucks in construction or landscaping environments preferred
- Knowledge of excavators, irrigation systems, gardening techniques, horticulture practices, and landscape maintenance is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge related to truck maintenance and small equipment repair
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction and transportation industries
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle inspection records
- Ability to work independently in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
- Physical capability to load/unload cargo and perform manual tasks associated with construction or landscaping work

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
