Qualifications & Skills

- 5+ years accounting experience
- Proficiency with Quickbooks Online
- Strong organizational and time management skills - must be efficient
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing team members considered an asset

Key Responsibilities

- Mentor and lead accounting technicans over multiple sites
- Review monthly reporting for individual entitites
- Review monthly reporting for the group as a whole
- Ensure proper controls in place
- Lead monthly budgeting meetings
- Lead the annual budgeting process
- Ensure accuracy of all financial entries and coding
- Support month-end close and year-end audit preparation
- Maintain organized and complete financial records for Companies
- Other duties as required

Other Details to Note:

- About 2 days every 2 months would be spent in New Brunswick to manage the accounting team there. The remaining time would be in an office in Charlottetown PE, Monday to Friday approximately 8am-4pm.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

- Senior Accounting: 3 years (required)
- Accounting: 3 years (required)
