QUALIFICATIONS:
· Post-secondary education in employment counselling, career development, social services, workforce development or a related field is an asset
· Experience providing employment counselling, career development or employment coaching
· Experience with job search, resume and interview preparation and career planning
· Experience with community outreach and/or workshop facilitation
· Experience working collaboratively with community partners
· Experience working with Indigenous communities is an asset

What you will do:
· Provide employment and career coaching, planning, job search, interview preparation, and employment readiness support
· Support participants with career pathways, skilled trades, apprenticeships, training, and employment opportunities
· Connect participants with employers,
Employment Ontario, training providers, and community resources
· Provide mentorship, follow-up, employment retention support, and labour market information
· Build relationships with community members, employers, service providers, and community partners
· Support participant outreach and engagement and assist with workforce development workshops and employer engagement activities
· Maintain accurate participant records and track referrals, training, employment outcomes, and program activities
· Collect participant feedback and contribute to project reporting and continuous improvement
· Work collaboratively with the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation, Job Skills management, WCG’s Indigenous Relations Lead, and other project partners

· Work Schedule: Part-time weekdays, 3 days per week, on-island at Georgina Island First Nation Public Library
· Salary: $50,050/annum
· Term: 6-month pilot, anticipated to run from September 21, 2026 to March 31, 2027
