Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meal preparation in a fast-paced environment. This role involves both cooking and food preparation duties, ensuring that all dishes meet our restaurant's standards for quality and presentation. Experience in a breakfast restaurant or as a head cook will increase your chance of getting selected for an interview.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe cooking environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, specials, and improvements in service.





Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends for sure.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn recent techniques in food preparation.
