Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be Gold Seal certified, possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Project Manager, you will be the Project lead, responsible for the coordination of all project tasks, managing resources, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. Required:

- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
- Gold Seal Certification(or equivalent experience/certification or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, preferably within the Ontario ICI sector.

Responsibilities

- Takes the lead and is the main point of contact for all aspects of assigned projects.
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates to assist with submission of tenders.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and manage documentation.
- Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, dependencies and critical path, and ability to do so on concurrent projects.
- Develop and track the project delivery plan, coordinating internal and third-party resources.
- Read and interpret project requirements, drawings,



and specifications to guide construction activities.
- Collaborate and communicate with project stakeholders.
- Prepare internal and external reports relating to job status, progress, budget, and deliverables.
- Address any issues or delays promptly to minimize impact on project timelines.
- Coordinate and lead regular site meetings.
- Attend regular foreperson meetings.

Desirables:

- Proficiency in using construction management software (e.g., Procore or similar, Office 365, Bluebeam Revu and MS Project) for project tracking and task prioritisation for time management.
- PMP Certification, or working toward

Key Attributes:

- Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting processes related to construction projects.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications effectively.
- Familiarity with risk management and quality control standards in construction practices.
- Proficient leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Expected hours: 41.5 per week.

Schedule:

- Monday to Thursday, 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 4pm

Work Location: Mixture of office and site (remote considered on occasional basis)

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
