Ottawa Electrical Contracting is a busy, family-run business looking for a licensed electrician to join our team full-time. We work on both residential and commercial projects.
We’re looking for someone who has at least five years of experience, can work independently, works well with a team, and is always willing to learn.

Qualifications
- Finished apprenticeship
- Completed required schooling
- Passed the licensing exam
- Meets minimum experience requirements
- Legally considered a licensed electrician
- Can work independently
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with industrial and commercial backgrounds.
- Robust knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment.
- Experience working with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Familiarity with construction processes, renovation projects, and electrical code compliance.
- Maintenance Person skills are a plus for versatile troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Ability to interpret technical documents accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
- Licensed Electrician minimum 5 years of experience
