Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The position involves handling cash transactions, operating POS systems, and maintaining food safety standards.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency
- Handle cash register operations using Micros POS or similar systems, including cashiering and cash handling
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in food preparation when necessary




- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming setting and addressing customer needs promptly

Qualifications

- Previous 1 year experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is must.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
