Our client is a growing, locally owned transportation, recycling and waste management company seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for year-round work throughout Southern Vancouver Island.

This is a permanent position with a variety of equipment, routes and hauling assignments.

What You’ll Do

- Operate manual-transmission Class 1 trucks and trailers
- Haul waste, recyclables, aggregates, soil and other materials
- Operate end dumps, walking floors, transfer trailers, quad/pup combinations and other equipment as required
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and required documentation
- Use mobile dispatch and routing software
- Follow all company, transportation and WorkSafeBC safety requirements
- Provide professional customer service
- Adapt to changing routes, equipment and operational needs

What We’re Looking For

- Valid Class 1 licence with manual transmission competency required
- Clean and safe driving record
- Experience with end dumps,



walking floors, transfer trailers or 53-foot trailers is an asset
- Comfortable using mobile devices and dispatch software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, safety-focused and adaptable
- Available for occasional Saturday shifts
