Produce & Delivery Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and physically capable Produce & Delivery Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the produce department, receiving and organizing deliveries, stocking inventory, and supporting the overall operations of the grocery store. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires frequent heavy lifting, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace. The Produce & Delivery Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring products are fresh, shelves and coolers are fully stocked, and deliveries are properly organized.

Responsibilities

- Clean, organize, and maintain the produce department to ensure products are fresh and displays are presentable
- Refill and replenish produce throughout the day to maintain fully stocked displays
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming deliveries in designated storage areas
- Lift, carry, and move heavy boxes, grocery products, and deliveries as required
- Organize deliveries efficiently to support daily stocking and store operations
- Organize and stock cooler inventory, ensuring products are properly arranged and accessible
- Restock grocery shelves and maintain organized inventory throughout the store
- Refill and maintain bulk food sections as needed
- Assist with inventory organization, product movement, and general store maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas, coolers, and workspaces
- Assist customers and support other customer service duties as needed




- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily store operations
- Follow all applicable safety, sanitation, and safe lifting practices

Experience & Qualifications

- Previous grocery, retail, produce, warehouse, or delivery experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs on a daily basis
- Physically capable of performing frequent lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take initiative when needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to safely handle and organize deliveries and inventory
- English communication skills required; bilingual or multilingual skills are an asset

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
