Your Opportunity:

The Program Manager within the Acute Adult Inpatient Program is responsible and accountable for providing direction, leadership and organization to the Adult Inpatient Program at CCMHBI. This position manages programs delivered to a diverse population with complex mental health and addiction needs that include inpatient stabilization, treatment, transition and recovery support. The position also liaises with various teams such as acute care, community agencies and government departments to deliver efficient and quality service. This position has an advocacy role in program enhancement to support patients and families receiving care.

Description:

The Program Manager will oversee and support ongoing program delivery, training, and competency development with staff. The Program Manager will be the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders; will ensure that clinical and accreditation standards are maintained; and that services in the program are delivered in a continuum based on the needs of the service users. In collaboration with other portfolios the Program Manager will be responsible for program evaluation and assessing both the effectiveness and efficiency of services. The Program Manager will provide financial oversight of the program and along with BAS will ensure that financial resources are used responsibly and that there is accountability related to expenditures. This is a key position contributing to the development, program direction of Acute Adult Inpatient services at CCMHBI.

Required Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in a health-related field. 5 years of experience in a leadership role. Current registration with skilled association. Equivalent experience and education may be considered. A minimum of 10 years' experience in Addiction and Mental Health, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. 5 years management experience. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in nursing or health related discipline, equivalent experience considered.
