Retail Sales Associate

Duties:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers

- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock the walls and merchandise displays as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends

Requirements:
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, assisting customers, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. We value individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent time management skills.

- Our store gets busy, loud and packed, and staff move through tight spaces and need to be heard over the noise. How are you in crowds and tight spaces, and can you speak up clearly over a busy room? Please be honest, it saves us both time
- This job means standing, moving quickly and using MANY flights of stairs while staying friendly. It also includes cleaning: trash, recycling, bathrooms, staff room, mopping and sweeping. Are you comfortable with all of that?
- We need people we can rely on through at least October 31st. Can you commit to that? What's the earliest date you could start, and which days and hours are you available?
- While most of our team is straight customer service (and we love that!), we also have some specific positions open. Do you have experience with any of these: sewing on a home machine (like a Singer), running a cash or debit till, or helping people put together costumes, makeup or wigs?
