Job Summary

Duties

- Manage the overall operations of the pharmacy, including staffing, inventory control, and workflow optimization
- Lead medication dispensing processes with precision, ensuring accuracy and safety in medication administration
- Provide expert guidance on medical terminology and pharmaceutical practices to staff and patients
- Oversee patient care activities, including medication counseling and education tailored to diverse populations such as pediatrics and acute care patients
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, pharmacy laws, and safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to support comprehensive patient treatment plans
- Maintain detailed documentation of prescriptions, medication records, and incident reports to uphold quality standards

Experience





- Proven experience in hospital or acute care pharmacy environments demonstrating strong clinical knowledge
- Extensive background in patient care, including pediatrics and complex medication management scenarios
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration procedures essential for effective leadership
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience within a pharmacy setting preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with healthcare teams and educate patients about their medications

Pay: $43.36-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 42.0 per week
