Position Title: Information Center Cashier

Reports To: Leisure Services Manager

Business Division: Leisure Services

Length of Position: Casual

Summary: Provides services to the public including facility billing and booking, information, and registration. Performs internal tasks including clerical and secretarial services and cash handling.

Duties

- Accepts bookings for Leisure facilities and enters required digital information
- Receives, processes, receipts, and posts payments
- Receives and records inquiries and forwards them to the appropriate individual for action
- Responds to both internal and public requests for information
- Creates and maintains required records and files

Education

- Grade 12 or GED equivalent
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Valid First Aid and CPR A





Experience and Additional Requirements

- Experience or training in customer service
- Office Administration Certificate or Diploma an asset

Salary
This position receives an hourly wage of $20.81/hour, as per 2026 CUPE rates.
