Overview

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Receiving Helper Reach Operator and become a vital part of our food industry. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inbound shipments, utilizing reach trucks and clamp trucks to handle heavy loads, and ensuring accurate order picking.

Duties

- Operate reach trucks, clamp trucks, and forklifts safely to move, load, and unload heavy materials within the warehouse
- Assist with inbound shipment verification by inspecting goods and ensuring proper documentation using warehouse management systems
- Perform accurate order picking based on pick lists, ensuring correct quantities and product types are selected
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks as needed to support the movement of large or bulky items
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on machinery
- Maintain a clean, organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in daily operations
- Support inventory management through precise stock counts and updating system records during receiving activities
- Freezer environment





Experience

- Prior experience in food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating clamp trucks, reach trucks and certification is mandatory
- Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipment quantities accurately
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software is advantageous
- Mechanical aptitude to understand equipment functions and assist with minor repairs or troubleshooting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Robust attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate order picking and inventory control
