Country Mills is a growing agricultural company serving farmers and rural communities across Southwestern Ontario. We are looking for an organized, proactive Fleet, Logistics & Procurement Supervisor to join our Feed Division at our Thorndale location.

Job Description

- Coordinate and dispatch daily feed deliveries based on customer requirements, production schedules, driver availability, and operational priorities.
- Work closely with the Feed Managers to coordinate delivery, load pickups and production requirements.
- Communicate schedules, changes, delays, and delivery requirements with drivers and internal teams.
- Coordinate the procurement of bulk ingredients for the Thorndale and Aylmer mills.
- Monitor bulk feed ingredient requirements and work with suppliers to coordinate pricing, availability, ordering, and delivery.
- Maintain accurate fleet maintenance, repair, and compliance records.
- Schedule preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and required vehicle servicing.
- Follow up on driver-reported vehicle and equipment concerns.
- Identify opportunities to reduce fleet operating and maintenance costs, including researching repair facilities, service providers, preventative maintenance programs, and preferred vendor arrangements.
- Help improve fleet utilization, delivery scheduling, purchasing processes, and overall operational efficiency.

Experience

You are highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to respond quickly when operational plans change.



You communicate well with drivers, suppliers, production staff, and management and understand the importance of follow-through and accurate recordkeeping.

Experience in dispatch, logistics, fleet coordination, procurement, agriculture, feed manufacturing, or transportation would be an asset.

You'll also need:

- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping.
- Ability to prioritize in a rapid-paced operational environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel. Experience with ERP, dispatch, purchasing, or fleet management systems, including Samsara is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle requirements.
- Agricultural or feed industry experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the Feed Managers, drivers, and suppliers.
