Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including industrial experience and proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various projects, including renovations and new construction, ensuring all electrical systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other diagnostic equipment.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Perform low voltage wiring installations as required for various applications.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes while performing electrical work.




- Provide maintenance person services as needed for minor repairs or installations outside of standard electrical duties.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role with a focus on industrial and commercial settings preferred.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics is essential.
- Experience with renovation projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.00-$44.48 per hour
