Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable 26 ft box truck driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial-sized box truck to deliver goods efficiently and on time. Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service, ensuring accurate deliveries, and maintaining the safety and security of all cargo and equipment.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a 26 ft box truck for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and secure cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition, reporting any maintenance needs immediately
- Assist with warehouse activities including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining a clean work environment




- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries professionally and ensuring timely delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery receipts, and other documentation required for compliance and record-keeping

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Experience with forklift operation is preferred but not required; certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and customers
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory movement is advantageous
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, driving, and warehouse operations
