Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled 309A Electrician or Experienced Apprentice to join our electrical team. This role offers an exciting chance to work on specialized life-safety systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in electrical work, and an excellent work ethic.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, with a clear pathway to earn or utilize your Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) technician certification (fully supported by company sponsorship).

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install or repair electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage, high voltage, and fire alarm electrical systems using hand and power tools.
- Conduct renovation projects by upgrading existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to safety standards.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.
- Complete detailed digital field inspection logs, deficiency reports,



and verification documents.
- Actively work toward and maintain CFAA certification status through company-sponsored coursework and field training.

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario 309A Electrician license or active registration as a 3rd Year (or higher) Apprentice with relevant electrical experience.
- Proven experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Active CFAA Technician Certification or full commitment to enroll in and complete the CFAA program (funded by the company).
- Electrical experience in troubleshooting complex systems within industrial settings.
- Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces as required by project specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.

Pay: $1,200.00-$1,800.00 per week
