Abattoir Worker – H.M. Halal Meat

H.M. Halal Meat is hiring reliable and hardworking Abattoir Workers to join our team. The position involves working in a slaughterhouse environment and assisting with livestock handling, slaughter and carcass processing, meat handling, cleaning, sanitation, and general production duties.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist with livestock handling and slaughter operations
- Carcass dressing, handling and movement
- Use knives and processing equipment as trained
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Follow animal welfare, food safety and workplace safety procedures
- Perform general production and cleaning duties
- Work effectively as part of a team

Previous slaughterhouse, meat processing, butchering, farming, or food production experience is an asset. Applicants must be reliable, comfortable working in an abattoir environment, and capable of performing physically demanding work. Full-time and part-time positions available.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
