Job Summary:

As an Accounting Technician, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and support financial reporting. Working closely with our Head of Finance, you will help ensure our books are accurate, our processes effective, and our financial foundation strong as the company continues to scale.

Task Overview:

Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and on time.
- Track and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments or receipts.




- Maintain organized documentation for all A/P and A/R activity.

Bookkeeping & Reporting
- Record and classify transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end closings and journal entries.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.

General Accounting Support

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Help streamline accounting workflows and improve internal processes.
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller and cross-functional teams to support business goals.

Skills:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Excel, Netsuite and general accounting tools.
- Strong understanding of A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers and performing financial analysis.
- A proactive mindset, someone who enjoys improving processes and staying ahead of deadlines.
