Wilsons Heating is looking for a skilled individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Administrator, working at our Truro office.

Wilsons Heating specializes in custom heating solutions, providing service to thousands of home and business owners in Nova Scotia. With 30+ years in HVAC, and 110+ years providing comfort solutions Atlantic Canadians, you'll be joining a trusted team of experts who pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional client experience.

As the successful candidate, you'll have a strong command of Wilsons' customer service policies, and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.

The Accounts Receivable Administrator will be responsible for:

- Answering incoming customer inquiries regarding payments/credit issues
- Following up with customers for payment
- Updating customer information in the database during/after each call
- Posting payments and preparing statements
- Processing EFT payments daily to commercial accounts
- Accounts receivable for commercial and residential accounts
- Generating reports and spreadsheets with Excel and other software
- And other duties

The successful candidate will be someone who is:
- Able to build positive rapport with callers and deliver excellent customer service
- Highly professional and able to help customers with sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy at all times
- Skilled in communicating effectively - both verbally and written, and with a strong grammar imperative
- Adept at typing and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, Word, and accounting software
- Adaptable and able to learn new processes and technologies




- Dependable and a positive team player
- Detail-oriented with above average organizational skills
- Able to multi-task in a busy environment
- Able to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Schedule: The schedule for this role is a rotation of Wed 4-8pm, Thurs/Fri 8- 8pm, Sat 8-5pm, Mon/Tues/Wed 8-8pm, then week off

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $21-$23/hour depending on the candidate's experience.
