Summary Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you will perform day-to-day accounts receivable functions in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process high volume customer remittances & deductions
- Analyze customer claims for deductions; shortages; price discrepancies
- Process customer payments (EDI, Wire Transfers, and Cheques)
- Follow up with customers for collections and deductions
- Process Claims
- Navigate thru Customer Portals (review invoice statuscustomer invoicing...etc)
- Liaise with other departments for issue resolution
- Perform regular account reconciliations and keep customer accounts current
- Produce reports, as required
- Perform other accounting related duties, as required
About You:
- Completed post-secondary education in Accounting
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel
