Paul Davis GTA West is seeking to fill an existing opening for a full-time Accounts Receivable Assistant to cover an 18-month maternity leave. This is an entry-level role, perfect for new graduates or someone seeking a start in Accounting.

The position of Accounts Receivable Assistant comes with a competitive salary and a typical Monday-Friday schedule. The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $48,000 annually. The role is based in our Burlington office and eligible for a hybrid model after 3 months of employment. We also offer paid personal days and an extended health benefits plan, which includes:

The Accounts Receivable Assistant’s primary role is efficient and timely processing of Accounts Receivables and providing support to the Accounting Supervisor, Project Coordinators, and Project Managers. This entry-level position reports directly to the Controller. This Position is Responsible For:

- Understand the PAUL DAVIS brand and be its champion




- Process invoices and invoice revisions in the ERP system
- Handle payment applications for Paul Davis, Allstate, and DGIG (Desjardins)
- Carry out cheque and e-transfer deposits
- Process credit card payments and refunds
- Work with Paul Davis Canada on payment deposits and solve over/under payment issues
- Carry out intercompany transfer requests and process cross-territory fees
- Based on invoicing instructions from project management, transfer certain files to the ERP system PSA (Proven Solutions)
- Prepare Reconciliation Sales Summary Report for month-end
- Complete Accounts Receivable (AR) Reports, AR follow-up reports, and end-of-day deposit reports

Qualifications and Skills:

- 1-2 years’ experience processing Accounts Receivables in a busy, time-sensitive environment.
- Robust eye for detail; ability to prioritize and manage time as needed
- Solid communication skills and ability to work as a team
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office; intermediate skill level in Excel.
- Accounting certificate or diploma is preferred
- Willingness to learn and handle new challenges.
