Circle of Wellness is a collaborative wellness practice in St. Albert focused on integrated care for the body, mind, and soul.
We are looking for an Acupuncturist to join our team. We are seeking a practitioner who is experienced, self-sufficient, trustworthy, and passionate about providing excellent client care while being part of a collaborative wellness collective.
The Opportunity
As an Acupuncturist with Circle of Wellness, you will provide individualized acupuncture and wellness care within an integrated practice. You will have the clinical autonomy to bring your knowledge, experience, and treatment approach to your work while being part of the Circle of Wellness team.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and can confidently manage the day-to-day aspects of caring for their clients.
At the same time, we believe that being part of Circle of Wellness means being part of something larger than an individual practice. Our practitioners work together to support a cohesive client experience and fostering collaboration between different areas of care.
This is a contractor position, with compensation structured at:
70% of treatment revenue to the practitioner
30% retained by Circle of Wellness

We are looking for an Acupuncturist who is:
Experienced
Ideally, you have 3 or more years of experience practicing acupuncture and have developed confidence in your clinical practice.
Self-sufficient
You are comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your clients,
schedule, communication, documentation, and day-to-day responsibilities.
Trustworthy and accountable
You take pride in your work, follow through on your responsibilities, and can be trusted to manage your practice professionally without needing someone to oversee the details.
Client-focused
You are committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care and building meaningful relationships with your clients.
Collaborative
You enjoy working alongside other practitioners, communicating with your team, and recognizing opportunities for interdisciplinary care and referral.
Professional and respectful
You contribute positively to the culture of the practice and value communication, mutual respect, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, professional, client-centred acupuncture care
- Conduct appropriate assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and professional clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their care
- Manage your schedule and client appointments
- Manage the day-to-day responsibilities associated with your client care
- Process client payments and check-out
- Maintain professional standards, boundaries, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Communicate and collaborate with other Circle of Wellness practitioners
- Contribute to a welcoming, respectful, and professional clinic environment

Qualifications
- Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the appropriate Alberta regulatory body
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- Current professional liability insurance
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Qualified, reliable, and trustworthy
- Comfortable working independently
- Organized and able to manage day-to-day client responsibilities
- Committed to maintaining a positive and collaborative practice environment
Experience or additional training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, nervous-system regulation, pain management, women's health, stress and anxiety, or other integrative approaches is an asset. Why Join Circle of Wellness?
