Pathways Alcohol and Drug Treatment Services is funded by Ontario Health and provides community treatment to those 16 years of age or over who are experiencing issues with substance abuse; as well as family members.
This position is for the head office in Renfrew.
Duties
- provide intake/screening, assessments, and develop treatment plans with appropriate clients
- provide community treatment and case management to clients within a community treatment setting, including crisis intervention
- demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team setting
- participate in supervision and team meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work
- Registration with a college an asset
- a minimum of three years clinical experience
- a thorough knowledge of the treatment of substance abuse disorders
- evidence of client-directed practice of service delivery
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- Clinical Certification as an Addictions Counsellor an asset
Pay: $28.00-$31.86 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
