Our head office, located in Mississauga, is seeking a talented and experienced Air Export Co-ordinator to join the Operations Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities

· Coordinate export / import shipments with overseas agents, vendors and shippers

· Prepare quotes/rates to clients

· Liaison with Airlines, truckers and vendors

· Arrange the collection/pickups, create MAWB/HAWB/E-Manifest and all relative documentation; CERS, etc.,

· Ensure exports / imports are processed based on country requirements

· Monitor shipments and respond to inquiries from agents and clients in a timely manner

· Responsible for data entry into operating system

· Ensure shipments are billed and vendor payables processed in a timely manner

· Perform and complete duties and responsibilities as assigned by management





· Maintain excellent contact with shippers / importers and various service providers

· Inform clients of external factors (ie. Shipping options, timeline changes, regulations)

· Negotiate shipping rates with freight carriers

Skills and Qualifications

· Ability to handle and prioritize a high volume of work

· Solid attention to detail and organization

· Ability to work independently and/or able to work co-operatively with a team

· An interest in streamlining processes as well as a passion for detail and improvements

· Self motivated and goal oriented

· Ability to effectively represent the company and communicate with individuals at varying technical levels

· Outstanding communication and written skills

· Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary: Competitive industry standard salary + Commission
