Airlaid Machine Assistant

We are a manufacturing company looking for a hard working machine assistant for our paper making process.

We are located in the Tilbury area of Delta.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, have excellent spoken and written English, be mechanically inclined and comfortable with math. Training provided.

Duties Include

- Overall operation of the airlaid machine.
- Provide direction and appropriately communicate safety, quality and production requirements with other operators.
- Identify and timely communicate safety, production and quality issues to management.
- Knowledge or ability to learn the entire nonwoven paper making process and operation.
- Ability to make timely and proper adjustments related to quality and production requirements.




- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex process issues independently and working with others.
- Current operating license for forklift or ability to get a license.
- Valuable understanding of general math used to make calculations required for adjustments to the process. Able to calculate percentages and concentrations of additives used in the process.
- Able to read, write and speak English clearly
- Ability to work rotating shifts up to 12hrs
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
