Apparel Production & Operations Manager

Location: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.

We are launching a new small-batch apparel production company in Edmonton and surrounding areas and are looking for someone who wants to help build the operation from the ground up.

This is not simply a heat-press operator position.

We are looking for someone who can eventually take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the business—from receiving an order to delivering the finished product.

What You’ll Do

You will manage the production process for custom T-shirts, hoodies, workwear, hats and branded merchandise.

Responsibilities include

- Receive and organize customer orders
- Prepare customer artwork for production
- Order blank garments and production materials
- Prepare and apply DTF transfers
- Operate commercial heat presses
- Produce T-shirts, hoodies, workwear and other apparel
- Inspect finished garments for quality
- Fold, package and prepare completed orders
- Maintain blank garment inventory
- Track production materials and supplies
- Coordinate outsourced DTF transfers
- Prepare shipping labels and customer pickups
- Maintain clean and organized production areas
- Photograph completed products when required
- Communicate with customers regarding order specifications
- Track deadlines and production schedules
- Help develop efficient production systems as volume increases

As the company grows, the role may expand into operating embroidery and in-house DTF equipment.

Who We’re Looking For

You do not necessarily need years of apparel-production experience.

- Able to manage several orders simultaneously

Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Canva, DTF printing, heat pressing, embroidery, screen printing, apparel production or graphic design would be considered an asset. What Success Looks Like A customer should eventually be able to place an order with our company and have you manage the entire production process:

Order → Artwork → Garments → Production → Quality Control → Packaging → Delivery

Accuracy and quality matter.

Every garment leaving our shop should be something we are comfortable putting our name behind.

The initial operation will focus on small-batch custom apparel, corporate apparel, workwear, sports/team orders and merchandise production for emerging clothing brands.

As sales grow, we intend to expand our production capabilities into commercial embroidery and in-house DTF printing.
