Apprenticeship: 310T Truck & Coach Technician

Wage:$18.00 - 40.00 per hour Based On Apprentice Level and Experience

Key Responsibilities

- Assist licensed technicians with the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing under supervision.
- Assist with repairs to engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, suspension, steering, and other vehicle systems.
- Learn to diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing equipment safely and properly.
- Assist with vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues.
- Replace and repair defective parts and components as directed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.




- Complete service documentation and maintenance records.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Continue developing technical skills through on-the-job training and apprenticeship schooling.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Registered or interested in pursuing a 310T Truck & Coach Technician apprenticeship.
- Previous experience in a mechanical or automotive environment is an asset but not required.
- Strong interest in heavy-duty trucks, equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
