We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Arabic Language Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and inclusive learning environment using modern, interactive teaching methods. This role includes lesson planning, student assessment, and creating an immersive Arabic language experience through games, art, movement, and creative activities.

Duties

- Teach engaging Arabic lessons using interactive and modern teaching techniques.
- Incorporate games, artwork, movement, and hands-on activities to enhance learning.
- Create and lead art and craft activities that complement and reinforce lesson objectives.
- Design creative activities tailored to each lesson and students’ interests and developmental needs.
- Develop effective lesson plans and assessments aligned with curriculum goals.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and professional classroom atmosphere with patience and empathy.
- Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a productive and positive learning environment.




- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Utilize technology and digital tools to support language learning.
- Work schedule: Every Sunday, (6 hours).

Qualifications

- Degree in Arabic, Education, or a related field.
- Fluent Arabic with a successfully passed Arabic proficiency assessment. Native Arabic speakers required.
- Fluency in Levantine (Shami) Arabic is strongly preferred and will be given priority.
- Strong ability to create and lead art and craft activities that are connected to and support Arabic language lessons.
- Good communication skills in English and French.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Arabic to children.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Female candidates only.
