Position Summary

Herauf Modular is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architectural Designer for our Regina location. The ideal candidate will responsible for developing architectural concepts, detailed drawings and design solutions for modular buildings, and will have a strong understanding that modular design requires a different approach than conventional construction.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop architectural concepts and preliminary designs for modular buildings, as well as prepare detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction documents.
- Create and maintain accurate digital building models.
- Develop designs from initial client concepts through construction-ready drawings.
- Review project requirements, specifications, site information, and client needs.
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil requirements.
- Work with engineers and consultants to coordinate design requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable provincial building codes, standards, zoning requirements, and accessibility requirements. Designed specifically for modular manufacturing, transportation, installation,



and on-site assembly.
- Assist with material selections, finishes, specifications, and architectural details.
- Prepare drawings and documentation for permitting and approvals.
- Participate in design meetings with clients, consultants, project managers, and internal teams.
- Assist with estimating and costing by providing accurate quantities and design information.
- Maintain organized project files, drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications

- Minimum three to five years experience of turning conceptual designs into construction-ready technical documents.
- Diploma in Architectural Technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes and zoning across Western Canada.
- Experience working with engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, coupled with strong problem solving techniques.
- Valid drivers license
