Our services include commercial asphalt paving and civil contracting specializing in commercial / industrial / institutional parking lots, parking lot maintenance and repairs, roadway repairs, asphalt trails and larger residential rural laneways. Asphalt Paving Crew Member

Your job is to provide the physical labour and skills required to carry out many different tasks. You may load and unload construction materials and move materials around in work areas using equipment; assist in levelling various materials using rakes and shovels; perform clean up duties; remove rubble and garbage at construction sites; erect and dismantle traffic delineators and signs, direct traffic at or near construction sites and perform other activities as directed. You must be physically fit, hardworking, and able to follow instructions quickly and efficiently. You must quickly learn to follow safety precautions, and become handy with many kinds of tools and equipment.



You may work on different crews doing various jobs, so having skills in a number of areas, as well as being able to work cooperatively in a team environment, is important.

Experience is an asset but not mandatory for right individual.

Valid

Class G drivers license with clean driver’s abstract. Punctual and dependable. Flexible and willing to work overtime when necessary. Committed to quality and integrity.

Preference would be given to the individual who has the following skills and qualifications:

- Must be experienced in all aspects pertaining to asphalt paving, including tamping, raking and rolling.
- Must be able to follow direction and work independently as well as in a team setting
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must have a valid G licence
- Must have a clean Drivers Abstract

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
